Loving diversity
I just had a wonderful experience. I went to our neighborhood ALDI store to do some grocery shopping. It was busy as usual. If I was to guess there were between 6-11 different nationalities represented there. One teller and I were the only caucasian people. There was 1 hispanic person. There was even a woman 2 people behind me asking, in her native tongue, the woman behind me if she spoke Arabic. She said no. I was amazed. The Lord is good to have placed us in such a wonderful place.

That's so cool. I regret that our area is so very "white." I always enjoy a trip to NoVA because it is such a diversely beautiful experience. I try to raise my kids to be "color blind" and I think it is taking because after the elections, was the first time Abi and I talked about Obama's race and why it was so significant that he won! I was amazed and proud that my "detail oriented" Abi never noticed his color. BTW, I didn't know there were still ALDI stores around!!!
